Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter
Sure, Episode 1 wasn't that good, but at least something good came out of it: Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.

With the recent release of a new Star Wars movie, people are pumped for anything with the Star Wars likeness, and Jedi Starfighter will give us gamers a dose of Star Wars that is gladly welcomed. Given the nature of this game (Action/Flight), I was hyped up for some dogfighting action. The gameplay will not let you down, though the graphics will. Get ready for some heart-pumping, adrenaline-rushing, palm-sweating action. Excuse me while I barrel roll down to the next paragraph. Anyone have an air sickness bag?

As I popped in the Jedi Starfighter disc, I couldn't wait to get into some flying fun. However, load times slowed this process down. The menu system looks amazing, but some of the screens tend to lag for some reason. I was amazed when the option menu's framerate started to lag. Well, I wouldn't let these little things hamper my excitement, so I quickly moved on to story mode and got ready for some action. And then the loading screen came up. Load times don't bother me too much, but these ones tended to be a little on the long side. Plus, sometimes the game froze in the middle of loading. Weird huh?

OK, so I managed to survive the load times, and was greeted with a great-looking opening sequence. The story line is as follows: you are Adi Gallia, a former padawan under the tutelage of Mace Windu. Mace Windu has learned that Count Dooku is planning on taking star systems away from the control of the Republic. Dooku and his right hand man, Cavic Toth, are behind this plot, but Toth has alternate plans himself. Toth also wants to take control of the Karthak system, and grabs the help of a group named Saboath. Your mission is to stop Toth, Dooku, and the Saboath.
