You are given a tranquilizer and when you awake you do not know what is going on. You wake up as if it was all a dream. You are wearing an ear piece and you are told what to do to earn your second chance at life. You are told that you have murdered some people and you must accomplish some tasks in order to live. You have to run, hide, and fight to survive. If you can stay alive long enough, you may find out who did this to you. Overall the game is a gruesome, bloody, horror, and adventurous game. Watch out! You don’t know what may be around the next corner. Be aware of things and be prepared to strike an enemy.
Manhunt was released for Playstation 2 first and is now available for XBOX and PC. The XBOX version content is the same as PS2. Some things where improved though such as the graphic quality and improved controls. The game was made as if it was a movie. You play the game in scenes. Every scene you are place somewhere else in the town.
Here is some detail about how gruesome it is, you can get a baseball bat and choke a guy with it or swing it at the guy and make his head go flying off. You can also smash it and make brains go flying all over the place. Also blood goes all over you and the screen. You can stab enemies with crowbars and glass shards or you can suffocate people with plastic bags. You can also get guns, such as machine guns, shotguns, assault rifles, pistols, and nail guns. You can shoot enemies using the auto aim button like as in GTA or you can aim manually but it doesn’t work well.
Once your health meter starts to drop you will notice that you can run as fast due to fatigue. You will also notice that your sight will start to become blurry. To raise your health you will need to find painkillers which will restore about 1/3 of your health meter.
