Hitman: Contracts
|
|
The bald headed agent 47 returns in the third game of the Hitman series, Hitman: Contracts. This game is recommended to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin fans because this game continues where the previous game left off.

Most of the levels in the game begin with flashbacks. It seems kind of odd but when you get more into the game you will understand it. Some of the missions may seem as deja vu if you have played the previous games in the series. As you get further into the mission you will notice that it is not exactly the same. They took classic missions and tampered with them to make them even better. You can disguise yourself by taking clothes from a killed or knocked out enemy. The disguise will make your enemies think that you are one of them when your really not. This plays a part of stealth in the game.
Many find the normal difficulty setting to easy and most will get through the game rather quickly. On normal setting you begin all of your missions with a silenced pistol instead of having to go search for one. The silenced pistol makes it to easy because you can sneak up and shoot the enemy without having other know and that is just to easy. Without the pistol killing enemies isn’t so easy. When you shoot at an enemy other enemies will come out looking for you. Just because the normal difficulty setting is so easy it doesn’t mean you should go for the hardiest setting either. It is a lot harder than you may think. The hardest difficulty will not allow you to view a map of the missions location and it also wont allow you to save your progress when desired only when you have completed a mission. Most people will suggest the Expert mode. You will be able to view a semi-detailed map and will allow you a couple times to save your progress. Also note that you may not change the difficulty once you start your game.
If you get lost in a mission you can view a map, depending on what difficulty you are in. Viewing the map will not pause your game so make sure you view it when enemies are not around. If you remain hidden and attack quietly then you will be flawless against your enemies. It is very important that you drag bodies into bushes or shadows. If that is not done then a message will appear on the screen saying that a dead guard was found and the guards are now looking for a bald headed man wearing a black suit. Or whatever you are wearing at the time of occurrence.
The levels are very well made and include great lighting which is not found in most games. You can see the lighting beaming into the characters eyes. You may also shoot out the lights, glass will fall down and the lights will static out. One of the great effects in the game that is not found in most is when you shoot an enemy blood splatters all over. The blood sprays into the air ad well as onto surfaces that are around at the time.
