A very cool feature of Stoked is the real weather conditions. Each day the snow and weather conditions chance on each mountain in Stoked. Snow accumulates on mountain surfaces, changing the riding experience, opening new paths, and building new trickable features and challenges. One moment you could be riding down the frontside of Almirante Nieto and the next the frontside is in shadow and what was once fluffy powder is now icy and slick. This is just a sickfeature and if anything else doesn’t stand out in this game, this feature alone does.
Visually the game looks great. Nothing out of this world but isn’t anything whack either. From the character models and details on the clothing, it isn’t bad. Also, the weather and environments is a sight to see. You can tell however how much time they spent on one thing here, vs another over there. The snow and mountains look realistic too and the draw distances are great, especially at a high altitude.
The controls take some time to get used to, only for nailing tricks though. To move and just cruise around is a natural feeling and you’ll be accustom to the controls in no time even pulling off simple tricks. Moving on to the more advance tricks is where the practice will need to come in.
The game also features an eight player online component where it’s basically the same as you would play alone, but now with seven others. You can also announce challenge and have the players join in a variety of events like racing.

Stoked hands down will be an enjoyable game for snowboarders and fans of snowboarding or just snowboarding games. The online multiplayer is a hit or miss and may be the fun factor and replay value for some while some may never go back to it again. Definitely the best snowboarding game out right now on the current-gen systems. Anyone who was a fan of Shaun Whites Snowboarding will definitely enjoy this title.
