Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2
Are you ready for Capcom's second complication? Arcade classics return: Strider, Super SFIITurbo, Captain Commando, and more. Are you up to the challenge?

Capcom Classic Collection Vol. 2 is the sequel to last year’s successful Vol. 1. I’ve played Vol. 1 at last year’s E3 , and this year, Capcom wised up on the game’s content. Anyone looking forward to Vol. 2, will notice that the original Street Fighter is in the collection, they will also notice that the second complication has a wide variety of games, ranging from beat em’ ups (I hope I see your port of AVP in the next Vol., Capcom), to adventure games (dungeons and dragons, please! I enjoyed that arcade version so much, I beat it in one day), to fighting games, to shooters, they really went all out on this collection. There are games that I have played before, but most are games I’ve never played before.

This is the list of games playable at E3: Black Tiger, Captain Commando, Magic Sword, Quiz and Dragons, Side Arms, Street Fighter, Strider, and Three Wonders.

Other games that weren’t playable: 1941, Knights of the Round, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Eco Fighters, Avengers, Tiger Road, Last Duel, Mega Twins, Varth, The Speed Rumbler, Block Block, King of Dragons.

The menus are the same as last year’s, so you will recognize most areas, some areas has been altered, but you will see more of the same, even last year’s logo has been retained. You will even have the same options during gameplay, yep, you can raise your volume, your screen size, your controller configuration, and so on.

The collection’s graphics and sound have been faithful to its originals, from what I’ve played in the limited demo. When I said “limited” I meant, there are a few games that were playable, but you can go through the game in its entirety. In fact, I played a few games beating a few levels, and I wasn’t restricted, at all. I’ve played the game for a reasonable amount of time, so – if you want arcade-perfect ports, you don’t need to worry, its all intact.

Stay tuned into Xbox Evolved while we finish our belated E3 content.
