Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX 3
We get “feet-on” with the latest DDR title coming to Xbox.

by:
July 19, 2005

Those of you who are reading this and have never played a DDR game on Xbox yet, come on and get to it! The third year in a row Konami is releasing their ultra-popular dancing game on Xbox with special features that take advantage of Xbox Live.

The game I played was what else, but DDR? The game doesn’t play any different than the other DDR titles, but it definitely has had a different graphical look. It doesn’t look better as much as it is just a different style. The game should have plenty of new songs, at least 100 minutes included on the disc and more that can be downloaded through Xbox Live. The game will allow you to compete online with other people, but will also have traditional offline modes.

Now you can also trade your dance moves you make in the dance editor that was featured in the previous two over Xbox Live. Despite the ability to do that, you still can’t use your own songs from your hard drive, come on Konami! There is also a jukebox mode were you can just listen to the songs and you don’t have to dance which accompanies the various multiplayer modes, workout mode, Game mode, and so on. There is also a new story mode which I think is just basically going through certain songs with a silly quirky story behind it. At any rate, the game is definitely going to please those DDR fans out there that need DDR fixes constantly. We will have more on the game as it becomes available.
