Interstellar Marines (Project IM)…Just Where The Hell Are You!?
Remember that mind blowing trailer and a very cool looking game set in the future? Can’t remember due to that little info? Understandable, it's only one of few things known about Interstellar Marine but where is it now?

Way back on November 29, 2005, Zero Point software announced that it is currently working on a brand new first-person shooter for the Xbox 360 - the first of a planned trilogy and game was unveiled as "Project IM". The idea was that it would be steeped heavily in science-fiction lore and focus on co-op gameplay and realistic mechanics. Like with almost all next-gen shooters and their lazy developers, Project IM also utilizes Epic's Unreal Engine 3 technology.

Come May 4, 2006, we were greeted with the official name of Interstellar Marine, go figure. Along with its unveiling, a new trailer was released along side.

Interstellar Marines 2006 Trailer

The trailer is definitely CG and it’s age shows but even though, that was a pretty kick ass trailer and it looks good to this day. In that nice little 3 minute trailer, I was instantly remembered of EA’s Dead Space…which makes me wonder if this game general idea has changed at all since Dead Space’s release. But even though, the trailer still has its own unique design for and you can kind of tell what the general story will be about. Certainly some things have changed since 2006 but that is yet to be known…since that was the last time anything on this game was announced.
