Capcom's Teaser Site displays the year "1582." Before, the years "1560" and "1573" were there.
And then came a Monday update to the site, with the 1560 crossed out, replaced by a 1573. Tuesday came along, and the 1573 was crossed out, replaced with a 1582.
Those years correspond closely to the time frames for Onimusha, Onimusha 2, and Onimusha 3. Check out what happened in 1582 here. Could Capcom be teasing a new entry in the series that we thought would go to the grave with the PS2?
Let's see if tomorrow's update to the site lists a 1596 (or around that time), corresponding to Onimusha Dawn of Dreams.
