Graphics programmer Ryan Geiss posted a news blog on his website where he states:
"I can finally disclose that I'm one of the core developers of the human-tracking algorithms for Project Natal (click for more info), bringing full-body motion control to the Xbox 360+"
Note that last part... typo? Or did he slip up and say something he was not supposed to? Still yet, it would be a rather unlikely typo to make considering you have to hold shift down for a +. This would mean that the new Xbox 360, rumored to come bundled with Project Natal and possible 1TB HDD SKUs would be called Xbox 360+ or "plus".
Ryan Geiss is currently at Microsoft as a full-time programmer, working on some next-gen console projects as well as Project Natal. Xbox Evolved has contacted Ryan about this and will post an update once (or if) we get a response about this.
UPDATE:
Since yesterday when Xbox Evolved posted the article it seems that Mr. Geiss has edited all references of the "+" in Xbox 360+ on his website. His employers may have suggest he take it down leading to believe it is indeed, real.
Check out the response we received here.
